A paradise within human reach, Sikkim, a part of India since 1975, shares her borders with Tibet in the North, Bhutan in the East, Nepal in the West and the District of Darjeeling in the South. Known also as Beyul Demozong - "hidden rice valley", Sikkim is crowned by Mt. Kanchendzonga (8,586 m), the third highest mountain in the World. From the alpine mountains to the tropical forests, Sikkim holds within it a wealth of flora, fauna and rare animal species.

Sikkimese people live a simple life with natural gaiety and warmth. They are self-reliant and at ease with their secluded environment. Religion is the pivot around which revolves Sikkim's cultural heritage, life style and festivals. Few can pass this magical land without emerging refreshed.

The operating cost in North Sikkim becomes quite high as porters and Yakters charging higher wages due harsh environmental conditions and Sikkim Liaison Officer from the Home Department, Government of Sikkim has to accompany the group on the trek.

North Sikkim we need a minimum of 04 persons to obtain the trekking permit and we suggest that the maximum number of person should be 12, which will be good for the group. Clients Bio-Data, passport and Valid Indian Visa details along with 4 Nos. of passport size photographs has to be submitted to us 2/3 months in advance as the permits for North Sikkim is processed by the Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi.
