Treks that require domestic flights should be booked three months in advance. For OTHER TREKKING REGIONS reservations can be accepted as late as four weeks before departure of the trek, but earlier bookings are also advisable. For tours or treks in Tibet, the Chinese Government requires bookings at least 90 days in advance and full payment 60 days before the trip begins. A trekking permit is required for which a small fee is payable. Snow Leopard will arrange for the permits one day after your arrival in Kathmandu. You are advised to bring 3 passport size photos with you for the permits. Regarding Visa for all visitors to Nepal and this should be obtained in advance through the Royal Nepalese Embassy in your own country. A 60 days Visa is however obtainable on landing at Kathmandu airport for which a fee of US$ 30.00 per pax is charged.
